The Program Patrol is chosen by the PLC to help the instructors or other leaders present the group instruction, hands-on instruction, or other troop meeting activities.
If the instructors need items taught or reviewed in small groups, the Program patrol members are available as assistants.
The program patrol members help the instructors with set up or cleanup.
The instructor presents methods for building a fire. The program patrol helps him set up various fire building stations and supervises other scouts as they practice building, lighting, and kindling the fire.
The instructor presents first aid bandages for upper arm and lower leg splints and injuries. Later in the meeting, the members of program patrol lead small groups of scouts to practice what they learned.
